In Loving Memory of Theresa Louise Paravecchio

Theresa Louise (Reorda) Paravecchio, age 94, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of October 19, 2026, with family and in the care of the devoted and loving nurses and staff of the Trinidad Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and the Mt. Rose Hospice

Theresa was a lifelong resident of Trinidad, born there on August 11, 1932. She was the fifth of seven children of Bernard and Carolina Reorda. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim, to whom she was married for more than 50 years, and her siblings, Dominic, Bernard (Anna Mae), Pete (JoAnn), Ann (August), Joe (Olga), and John. She is survived by her children, Jim (Kathy) and Tim; her grandchildren, Aimee and Brendan; her sister-in-law, Yvonne Reorda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Theresa was a devout catholic and lifelong parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made in Theresa’s name to Holy Trinity, 135 Church Street, Trinidad, CO 81082.

The Family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Trinidad Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and Mt. Rose Hospice for their care and compassion.

Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Comi Funeral Home. The rosary will be held at Holy Trinity Church and will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m., and interment at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
